STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Jackson Lucy, a freshman student, was chosen as the high school student of the month. “This year Jackson has shown great maturity and effort that has allowed him to grow as a student, commented Mr. Arnold, one of his teachers. Jackson defines trustworthy to mean worthy of my trust by being kind and nice to others. “Don’t tell lies. Lies is what makes people see you as not trustworthy. The more lies you tell, the less likely it is for people to trust you,” advised Jackson. Education is important to Jackson because it allows him to learn and explore what is interesting to him. Jackson is involved in basketball, golf and speech. When he is not in school, he enjoys hunting, fishing and playing basketball. Jackson is the son of Travis and Joy Lucy.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Carver Undhjem, son of Stephanie and Brandon Undhjem, was also chosen as an elementary student of the month. He feels being trustworthy is important, so people trust you. His advice is “never lie.” Mrs. Heidel reported, “Carver can always be trusted to do what he is asked to do. We can trust him to go places in the school by himself and know he is doing what he is supposed to do. If a situation ever arises, he will always tell the truth about what has happened.” Carver enjoys math in school. He feels coming to school is important so he can learn. When Carver is not in school, he enjoys going to Minot. Carver is in the fourth grade.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Braylen Ankenbauer, a kindergarten student at Bowbells Elementary School, was chosen as a student of the month. He was chosen by his teacher because he is very trustworthy. “Braylen shows he is trustworthy by always doing his job. Whether he is in the hallways, at recess, or in the classroom, you will always find him doing the right thing!” commented Miss Peterson. Braylen feels it is important to be trustworthy so you can do more things. “Be a good listener,” was Braylen’s advice to others on the importance of being trustworthy. Braylen likes to come to school because he likes to learn. When he is not in school, he enjoys playing with tractors and work with his dad. Braylen is the son of Layne and Kae Ankenbauer.
